Riverside, Calif., Jan 16, 2001 - Surado Solutions, the emerging innovator in software solutions today, announced the release of the newest version of Smart Contact Manager (SCM) version 2001. Smart Contact Manager 2001 was previewed at Comdex 2000 in Las Vegas by Technology Reviewers, Resellers & End-Users.
With over 200 new features and enhancements, SCM 2001 allows users to Track & Manage Contacts & Schedules, Capture Leads from the Web, Offer Interactive Web Resources, Interact seamlessly with MS Outlook, MS Word & Palm Devices, Provide Sales Force Automation features including Quotes & Sales Forecasting, Broadcast Fax, Broadcast E-mail and a host of Business Tools that make SCM 2001 a powerful, robust, customizable, next-generation "web connected" contact management software.
Surado plans to significantly increase the number of appointed resellers, nationally and internationally, as part of an aggressive expansion plan. The integrated suite of features included in Smart Contact Manager 2001, provides enterprise relationship management for customer-facing professionals. By synchronizing customer interactions across all communication channels, the new version ensures that all customer-facing professionals have access to complete customer information, enabling them to anticipate customer requirements and provide well-informed service tailored to each individual's needs and preferences. Surado has continued to improve on its contact management tool with a well-designed contact record layout, including integrated folders and features - making SCM 2001 a powerful, yet easy-to-use, tool for both novice users and advanced users alike.
The addition of opportunity management assists in improving sales and forecasting revenue by allowing the user to develop a step-by-step sales strategy for each opportunity, creating automated sales triggers, tracking each sales quote and calculating the probability of closing the sale. The SCM Palm Synchronization and added seamless integration with MS Outlook allows you to easily transport your data to your Palm Computing Platform device or interact with MS Outlook E-Mail Services. These time-saving features afford even the smallest businesses the opportunity for thorough and personal follow-up with every customer, every time--even on the road.
SCM 2001 makes business professionals more productive by integrating Web Resources and bringing services & data directly into their applications. Users will now be able to receive company and other contact information, competitor profiles, news, business tips, directions, travel information, weather, stock quotes, and much more from inside the SCM 2001 window! Capturing Leads from the Web is also a new dimension to the software. Unlike other contact managers that simply capture leads from a website and directs those leads to one incoming destination, SCM 2001 allows system administrators to route incoming web leads directly to individual account managers. "The routing feature enables users to capture leads and then redirects those leads to the appropriate account manager for a city, state, region or other customizable categories. This will tremendously improve efficiency in lead response," said Mr. Ibarra.
SCM 2001 will provide several options to change and grow with the user's changing needs. SCM 2001 now comes in two versions; SCM 2001 Single-User and SCM 2001 Standard Multi-User. The Single User version is a great starting point, easily expandable to a standard LAN version without the addition of new software. In order to better serve its larger corporate clients, Surado is scheduled to release SCM 2002 SQL Version, used across Intranet and corporate networks, and ContactManagerOnline, the online ASP version, in mid-2002. Surado will follow release of its ASP version with another version of the online software, SCM 2002 Web version, which will utilize MS SQL Server as the back-end server. This will allow large corporate clients to better leverage their existing investment while utilizing the power of the Internet to host their own ASP version of SCM on their corporate intranet or on the Internet in the future without changes to the back-end server software.
